Camping

Last Week was our first camping trip with Manu and she did great! We took Rona and Sunia and Went up Big Cottonwood Canyon to a little campground. The campground was really nice, very wooded and you didn't feel like there were tons of other people around. It also had a creek running though it and while Rona and Sunia were out exploring they even saw a moose! We got there Thursday and after we set up camp we went hiking to donut hole falls, it was the perfect hike, not to easy and not too hard with cool waterfalls at the end. When we got back to camp Rona and Sunia tried to light the campfire... eventually uncle Si'i helped out and we roasted hot dogs and made s'mores and banana boats in the fire. Manu was good the whole time and she went to bed and pretty much slept through the night with me. Sunia and Si'i shared the tiny tent and Rona, Manu, and I had the big one. I felt bad for Si'i, he didn't sleep that well and was up at like 5:30, but Sunia slept fine, he was the last one up in the morning:) Hopefully this was the first of many camping trips to come!
